Amazing Race

HAPPY! :)

          Amazing Race? Seriously, I don’t have idea about the game. All I know it’s just running, challenging and of course it is fun.  When our prof. Mr. Hemerson Dimacale announced that we will have a activity named “Amazing Race”. I got quite excited about that game. But still I’m curious about what we are going to do in that activity. And I know it will be fun. \m/

          It was August 14, 2013 Wednesday. My blockmates and I are very excited. All of us are wearing P.E. uniform so we are comfortable in our activity. I’m quite nervous and excited that day because I think our missions are so hard. Sir Hemerson told us that we must go to activity area in 5 minutes so he can give our first tasks for us. Our first task is we need to find the biggest iconic symbol of National University that we can see in training area and be sure that we don’t disturb. The first idea that comes into our minds is the gym located at 8^th floor. So we ran fast in front of the elevator but it will waste our time if we will wait for it so we used the stairs. Imagine that from 1^st floor up to 8^th floor?! Just to be the first group to do that task. After that we proceed to the other tasks. It was disappointing when you do the task wrong just like the black Nazarene. We thought that it was the Jesus Christ that located in JMB building. Sir Hemerson said that we can go outside so we know that image already. Doing planking, taking a picture of National University’s transportation, taking a top view picture of the new gazebo, portraying the image in the glass painting and the last task is take a picture of the hologram of Jesus Christ that is located one of the rooms in the JMB building it took us lot of time just to find it. That feeling we are happy because we took the second place when we get the last task so we ran and ran just to find that image but after we do it, we only got the 3^rd place. Our group got 3.0.

          I had fun that day! Even though it is tiring but still it is worth it. We build up our cooperation and team work and of course our bonding. And in that activity helps us to criticize our minds how to appreciate arts in a simple way. And also helps us to know the different places in National University that we don’t know yet. That activity was so memorable because it was my first time to play the AMAZING RACE!

MEMORABLE! :)

          The most memorable task was the planking moment. HAHA! Doing planking in front of many students is so challenging for us. Just for the grade, we don't have choice but to do it. Even though it was so embarrassing. We don't care if the students are laughing in what we are doing all we know is just we are doing this for the sake of ourselves. hahaha! :)
